Here are a dozen restaurant options, both close and not too far.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Less than a 10-minute walk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Uptown Cantina<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2301 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. N. Unit 200<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $11-$30<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A five-minute walk from the convention, Uptown Cantina features Mexican and Fresh-Mex offerings, with a few choices for those who don\u2019t like Mexican food, such as burgers. The menu offers nachos, tacos, salads and more, complemented by handmade cocktails. <a href=\"https:\/\/uptown-cantina.com\/\">https:\/\/uptown-cantina.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Texas de Brazil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2301 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $31-$50<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Texas de Brazil, about a four-minute walk, brings churrasco culture to the United States. In addition to the flame-grilled meats brought to diners\u2019 tables, the menu includes chef-crafted salads, roasted vegetables, imported cheeses and charcuterie. <a href=\"https:\/\/texasdebrazil.com\/\">https:\/\/texasdebrazil.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Mugshots Grill &amp; Bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2311 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N #100&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $11-$30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mugshots Grill &amp; Bar is a two-minute walk. The bar experience sports a theme of&nbsp; &#8220;Havin\u2019 a Good Time!&#8221; and happy hour, from 3 to 6 p.m., has half-price domestic drafts, well drinks and wine. The franchise offers award-winning burgers, salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, pasta and full entrees. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mugshotsgrillandbar.com\/\">https:\/\/www.mugshotsgrillandbar.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Southern Kitchen + Bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2301 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N #300<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $11-$30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Southern Kitchen + Bar, also called The Southern Birmingham, is one of the city&#8217;s premier bar and restaurants and a three-minute walk from the conference. It boasts &#8220;a casually chic atmosphere offering the best entertainment with the hospitality of a true Southern gem.&#8221; The bar and restaurant serve lunch and dinner seven days a week. <a href=\"https:\/\/thesouthernbirmingham.com\/\">https:\/\/thesouthernbirmingham.com\/<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Todd English P.U.B.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2221 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $8-$27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todd English P.U.B. is a three-minute walk. It has a carvery, raw bar and grill as well as a selection of 50 international bar and keg beers. Santos Coffee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2100 Richard Arrington Jr Blvd N<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $3-$32<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Santos Coffee &amp; Bar Uptown is a three-minute walk from the Birmingham conference center but it goes to Guatemala for its coffee beans. K &amp; J\u2019s Elegant Pastries<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2260 9th Ave N<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $10-25<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K &amp; J&#8217;s Elegant Pastries is a bakery that&#8217;s a one-minute walk. Pizza Grace<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2212 Morris Ave Suite 105<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $6-$27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pizza Grace is about a 21-minute walk from the conference. It uses elegance and refinement in its approach to cooking, baking and hospitality. Bamboo on 2nd<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2212 2nd Ave N<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: $11-$30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bamboo on 2nd is an Asian-inspired restaurant about a 16-minute walk from the convention center. It\u2019s a neighborhood restaurant\/bar that serves affordable Pan-Asian food. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bambooon2nd.com\/\">https:\/\/www.bambooon2nd.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. Fife\u2019s Restaurant<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2321 4th Ave N<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Price Range: Under $10<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fife&#8217;s Restaurant is a locally owned and operated place around since 1959 about a 14-minute walk from the conference.
